Event Manager at the University of California San Diego, Executive Producer at The Beat Stop
Ace Antonio is an event producer and festival content creator from San Diego, CA. After attending his first Electric Daisy Carnival in 2011, he dove into the world of live events to create experiences and memories for others. While attending San Diego State University, Ace produced shows as an independent promotion company Audio Culture Events, which was geared towards YouTube and internet-based artists. Upon graduation in 2015, Ace discontinued Audio Culture and took on numerous music and live entertainment roles which included stage management at a theme park, marketing for a record label and a few years in local television production.
In 2015, Ace took on the role of event coordinator with the University of California San Diego and in 2018, Campus Events Manager. As the Campus Events Manager, Ace currently interprets and applies campus policy in advising, producing and marketing upwards of 40 diverse events per year in the service of over 40,000 student attendees, including small to mid-sized concerts, parades, night markets, hackathons and beyond. Of these events, Ace is part of the core team of the annual SUN GOD FESTIVAL, one of the largest collegiate music festivals in North America which has included the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Vince Staples, Louis the Child, Diplo, and many, many more.
In 2018, Ace launched The Beat Stop, a festival news, media and entertainment brand with a focus on creating original video content. The Beat Stop features list videos, artist interviews and festival vlogs in collaboration with various partners and guest-hosts. The Beat Stop produces at least two videos a month and you can check out the latest at www.youtube.com/thebeatstop
Ace's goal is to produce music festivals on an executive level and is currently spending his 20's doing what he loves to achieve that: attending music festivals, putting out content about them and honing is skills as a live event professional.
