Ultra Music Festival Moving Back To Bayfront Park In Downtown Miami
City officials voted in favor of bringing the three-day festival back to Bayfront Park in 2020. Proponents of the festival returning to Downtown Miami say it is great for the economy, but plenty of residents showed up to voice their concerns about the noise and traffic that comes with Ultra. “Well I think you have to look at the economic benefits,” said City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez. “It has a $100 million dollar economic benefit.”
A California Music Festival Had Onsite Cannabis Sales and Consumption
The event, the annual Northern Lights Music Festival, was held 200 miles north of San Francisco in Cooks Valley, near the border of Humboldt and Mendocino Counties. Prior to this year, festival attendees bought, sold, and consumed cannabis onsite, to be sure. But thanks to a new California permit, the Northern Light Music Fest had both cannabis vendors and consumption areas, all in full compliance.
