HeadCount & FestiFi Join Forces to Empower the Vote Across America

According to Pew Research Center, voter turnout rates for the majority of Millennials, the largest living generation, saw a spike in 2018, increasing to 42% as compared to 22% in 2014. Ultra Music Festival Moving Back To Bayfront Park In Downtown Miami

City officials voted in favor of bringing the three-day festival back to Bayfront Park in 2020.  Proponents of the festival returning to Downtown Miami say it is great for the economy, but plenty of residents showed up to voice their concerns about the noise and traffic that comes with Ultra.  “Well I think you have to look at the economic benefits,” said City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez. “It has a $100 million dollar economic benefit.”

A California Music Festival Had Onsite Cannabis Sales and Consumption

The event, the annual Northern Lights Music Festival, was held 200 miles north of San Francisco in Cooks Valley, near the border of Humboldt and Mendocino Counties.  Prior to this year, festival attendees bought, sold, and consumed cannabis onsite, to be sure. But thanks to a new California permit, the Northern Light Music Fest had both cannabis vendors and consumption areas, all in full compliance.

How Warped Tour led the consumerist music festival revolution

Warped Tour itself is a contradiction — it’s a punk rock festival that’s also a prodigious marketing machine, sponsored from top to bottom by brands hoping to win over fans in between shows. This isn’t a knock on the tour, really: if it weren’t able to bridge that gap, it probably wouldn’t exist.

Sample all-style slices made by Vegas pizza pros at Pizza Festival

“Vegas doesn’t have its own style of pizza,” Ritolo said. “We’re transplants from all over America who brought their hometown pizza styles to Vegas and do that style really well, whether it’s Buffalo style at Naked City, Roman at Monzu or Detroit at Pizza Rock. We’re finally at a tipping point where we are becoming known as a pizza town.”  The festival on Nov. 16 is being presented by the Las Vegas Pizza Alliance, a tight-knit group of Vegas pizza makers who are some of the best in the business, even if hometown customers don’t always recognize the pizzaioli making their pies might be national or international pizza champions.
